What happened?

The drawdown exceeded expectations on the NorthEastWay and MultuWay signals tonight and the signals exploded.

Technical reason: very inconvenient for my EA movement of the GBPCAD currency pair. I can describe this movement as a trending unidirectional price movement with constant acceleration.

Now we can say that the GBP currency pairs should not have been used in trading lately. But, unfortunately, the events in Russia and Ukraine led to the fact that I began to devote much less time to macroeconomic market analysis.


Summarizing

1. Before the explosion, the profitability of the NorthEastWay signal reached almost 10,000%, that is, the signal grew 10 times.

2. For 51 months, this signal consistently made a profit every month. This is an unprecedented result for MQL5.

3. Adding the non-major currency pairs EURUSD, EURGBP, GBPCAD, GBPUSD, USDCAD, EURCAD to trading in January 2021 was a mistake. My Expert Advisor works much better on the three major currency pairs AUDCAD, AUDNZD, NZDCAD.


What's next?

My signals based on trading the three major currency pairs AUDNZD, NZDCAD, AUDCAD continue to work. This is a very stable trade. This is exactly the trade I originally started with. Yes, these signals are traded much less often, but the frequency of trades can be sacrificed for the sake of stability.

I do not plan to launch a new signal similar to the NorthEastWay signal anytime soon.

The North East Way Expert Advisor continues to be one of the best Expert Advisors in MQL5.

但如果您真的需要，私讯给 ...

如果跑三货币，不用OneChartSetup，是不是要开三个主图，分别在AUDCAD,AUDNZD,NZDCAD三个图表上挂3个EA？

没错！就挂三个图，Onechartsetup参数要空白
