Depends on what you call a breakout. On gold, breaking the Asian range only pays when London opens with follow-through — otherwise it's a liquidity grab and you get filled at the worst tick. I filter by requiring the breakout candle to close beyond the level plus volume above the 20-period average, otherwise I skip it. Which session are you testing? |
