What do you guys look at before trusting an EA?
I've tested quite a few EAs, and one thing I've learned is that a good-looking backtest isn't enough for me anymore.
Before running an EA live, I usually look at:
Maximum drawdown
Risk per trade
How it handles bad market conditions
Whether it relies on martingale/grid
Live results compared with the backtest
How consistent the results are over time
I'm currently testing an EA that has been interesting so far, but I'm still more focused on its drawdown and consistency than chasing big daily returns.
